Calvin Thomas is a singer-songwriter currently in Maryland and loves to make music. He is also a producer, working with DAWs such as Cubase 8 and Studio One to record pre-production demos.
Calvin ventured into live streaming, with Periscope being the main live stream medium for his music. He does a show on Periscope on average 2-3 times a week, entertaining fans from many countries, such as the US, Sweden, and Japan. Because of this, he has met and performed with musicians from Virginia, Pennsylvania, and New Jersey and has also collaborated with musicians online from different countries, recording cover songs and assisting them with their original songs. He also uses Periscope while playing at farmers markets in Virginia, DC, and Maryland. He also broadcasts on Twitch at least 2 times a week, setting up a similar format to his broadcasts on Periscope.
He released an album called October Sky in October 2018 and his EP "The Rush" on January 31. While "October Sky" focuses on the good nature of people and taking your experiences to become a stronger person, "The Rush" builds on this by showing the continuation of this journey, keeping up the good vibes and the life lessons that anyone can take away from this.
He released a new song called "It's The Little Things" earlier this month. The song focuses on the appreciation one needs to have for the person or people that care about him/her and how the rough roads that he/she walked on were overcome because of that same love. It was initially written as a Thanksgiving-focused tune, as it was written sometime in November. Furthermore, this was a tune that was built on Periscope with the help of anyone and everyone that tuned into the live broadcast that day.
